What this is

This is the website for Zeus Squadron, a group of friends who play Ace Combat together. It hosts a few tools for our squadron and other members of the gaming community. By using it, you're agreeing to what's on this page.

We're fans, not the publisher

Zeus Squadron is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bandai Namco Entertainment, Project Aces, or anyone who actually makes Ace Combat. We're just enthusiastic about it. All game names, aircraft, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and are used here purely out of fandom.

If you're a rights holder and something here bothers you, get in touch and we'll sort it out. No lawyers required.

Getting in

The members area is invite-only. You log in with Discord, and access is tied to your Discord account. A few things follow from that:

• Your login is yours. Don't hand it to someone else, and don't try to get in as someone you aren't.
• Access can be removed. If you leave the squadron, or things go badly wrong between us, we can revoke it. There's no appeals process, because there's no bureaucracy.
• We may change what's behind the gate without notice, including taking tools away.

Behave yourself

The short list of things not to do:

• Don't attack the site, probe it for holes, or try to get at things you're not meant to see. If you find a security problem, tell us instead – we'll be genuinely grateful.
• Don't scrape it, hammer it with automated traffic, or otherwise make it someone's problem to keep running.
• Don't use it to harass anyone or do anything illegal. Should go without saying.

No warranty, as they say

This site is provided as is. We don't promise it'll be online, that it'll work on your device, that the data is accurate, or that it won't lose your place mid-build. It's a hobby project maintained in people's spare time, and it may break, change, or disappear entirely.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for anything that happens as a result of using it. Realistically the worst case is a bad loadout and a rough match, but the sentence has to be here.

Your stuff

If we ever add features where you can save or post things, you keep ownership of whatever you make. You'd just be giving us permission to store and display it so the feature works. Right now nothing like that exists.

Privacy

Covered separately and in plain language on the privacy policy. The very short version: we ask Discord who you are, keep it in a cookie in your browser, and run no database and no analytics.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, the date at the bottom changes. Carrying on using the site after that means you're fine with the new version.
